Ruchi Singh is an Assistant Professor at University of Georgia. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. Her research interests include urban economics, real estate, and crime. Her current research focuses on crime, land use regulation, housing affordability, land valuation, property taxation, and the effect of natural disasters on house prices. Dr. Singh has published articles in Journal of Urban Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Real Estate Economics, and Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics. She is an IZA Research Affiliate and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics.
