Ashutosh Kumar

Kumar Ashutosh is a third year PhD student at IFMR Graduate School of Business in Krea University, India. His research interest includes issues in Economics & Crime, Health Economics, Economics of Education and Political Economy. He is passionate about Causal Evidence based research studies. His current research is focused on the intersection of Gender, Education and Crime. Previously, he has contributed to the literature of causal impact of the lockdown policies on out-of-pocket health expenditure by households in India. He has also co-authored a working paper for the impact evaluation of participation in micro-finance bodies in the Meghalaya state of India. He holds dual master's degree in economics and mathematics.
