Hamida Mubasshera is a 4th-year graduate student of Economics at Temple University and mother of a toddler. Originally from Bangladesh, Hamida's research interest includes applied microeconomics with a specific interest in labor economics, health economics, and economics of crime. In her 3rd year paper, she explored the association between phonography usage during adolescence and risky sexual behavior. She has many other exciting research ideas related to the broad literature on the sex market, the economics of privacy, and digital economics. She hopes that the AMIE mentoring program will help her to grow as a researcher
