Sila is a PhD economics student at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. His thesis focused on the nexus between firm productivity and innovation, and quality of institutions in developing
economies. Specifically, studies the role of electricity supply institutions and one stop shops for public service delivery in firm decisions and outcomes. Sila is also active in policy formulation where he helped establish public credit guarantee for small businesses at the National Treasury.
