I am an applied Development economist, with interests in areas of Education, health in general. I like to work on policy related issues that address diversity, helps in inclusion of socio-economic disadvantaged and gender. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence (formerly known as Shiv Nadar University), India. Before joining Shiv Nadar University in the year 2013, I have been a faculty member in Economics area at the Administrative Staff College of India at Hyderabad, worked as a Research Fellow in a New Delhi Based Think Tank Observer Research Foundation, and worked in Bangalore based IT consultancy company (Comat Technologies) as Lead Economist (in projects run by the Poverty Action Lab).
