Deepthi Sara Anil

Deepthi Sara Anil is a fifth year PhD candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur- India. Her research interest primarily lies in Development Economics using applied micro techniques. For her PhD dissertation she focusses on the economics of health and education. She has worked on the political economy of health as well as gendered health impacts within households. Her current work seeks to understand the effect of local crimes on student learning. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Hyderabad Central University, India and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Madras Christian College, India.
