Kaushambi Bagchi is a final year PhD Candidate in Public Policy at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Her research focuses on sexual & reproductive health & rights & understanding the explanatory role of intrahousehold bargaining power & socio-cultural norms. Kaushambi's doctoral thesis studies these aspects with a geographical focus on South Asia. Her research utilizes both quantitative & qualitative methods. She has previously worked as a Consultant in ICRIER, an economic policy think-tank based in New Delhi, India. Her research there included topics in regulatory policy & political economy, with a sectoral focus on telecommunications & the digital economy. Kaushambi holds a B.A (Honors) in Economics from the University of Delhi (India) & an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics (India).
