
Debanjan Das is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), India. He also works as a Research Associate at IIM Ahmedabad. Before his Ph.D., he completed a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya and an M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension from the ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute. His research interests lie in development economics and applied microeconomics, with a focus on rural enterprise development, financial and managerial constraints, behavioral economics, and survey experiments. Debanjan is also actively involved in teaching courses such as Impact Evaluation, Field Experiments for Social Policy, Applied Data Science, and Causal Machine Learning.
