Ridwan Hossain is a fifth-year PhD candidate at Fordham University, specializing in development economics, education, applied microeconomics, & applied econometrics. For his dissertation, he conducted a Randomized Control Trial (RCT) among school-aged children in Bangladesh to assess the impact of incentives on student performance. As a Senior Teaching Fellow, Ridwan teaches Principles of Microeconomics to undergraduate students & Mathematical Methods in Economics to graduate students. He holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Massachusetts Boston, USA & a bachelor’s degree in Economics from North South University, Bangladesh.
