Magbondé Kadoukpè Gildas

Kadoukpè Gildas Magbondé, hailing from Benin, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. His doctoral research examines the impact of electricity & water interventions on the well-being of rural households in Senegal. In addition to this, he has a keen interest in exploring policy-relevant issues concerning household poverty, firm productivity, & the evaluation of public policies' impacts. Prior to his tenure at the University of Cape Town, he completed a Master’s degree in International & Development Economics, a program jointly offered by the Catholic University of Louvain & the University of Namur in Belgium.
