I'm a PhD candidate in Economics at Clemson University, specializing in development and health economics with a focus on maternal and child health in India. My research examines how public health incentive programs shape household investments in health and human capital, with particular attention to vaccination coverage and timing. Originally from India, I draw on this background to study programs like the Janani Suraksha Yojana, a maternal health cash transfer, and its downstream effects on childhood immunization. I am also passionate about teaching and have taught courses including Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics.
